Cox Fleet, a leading mobile fleet maintenance provider, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to heavy repairs in a field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems while working with a team and managing parts on your service truck.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED with relevant field experience, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and the ability to pass DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in related field; or 5 years in related field.
• Must possess and provide a set of hand tools for required duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to identify malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper operation after service work.
• Maintain service truck, perform safety checks, and manage parts inventory.
