Cox Fleet is a leading mobile fleet maintenance provider and national service center network. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs in a field/mobile setting.

You will handle parts, document findings, and work under supervision to grow advanced mechanical skills. Join a company with 50+ service centers, a 24/7 call center, and strong safety and training programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related field experience or 5 years in related field.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge; able to pass pre-employment screening and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license and 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and document findings using RO and TRAIT on the iOS device.
• Maintain service truck and parts inventory; conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Coordinate with management for approvals and purchase orders.
