Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on fleet vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, manage parts on a service truck, and document findings using the TRAIT app.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma/GED with 3+ years in related field; ASE T8 certification within 18 months is required.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a field/mobile setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems with proper safety.
• Maintain service truck and perform pre/post trip inspections; follow company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair truck equipment including electrical, fuel, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain parts inventory and operate company vehicle; document findings on RO via TRAIT app.
