Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, document work using TRAIT on an iOS device, and maintain safety and inventory on a daily basis.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 within 18 months, and valid DOT/driver qualifications. Expect a 12 PM–8:30 PM shift from Thursday through Monday, with weekly pay and benefits including health insurance and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' experience or 5 years in a related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on vehicles in field.
• Repair and diagnose electrical/mechanical systems in a mobile setting.
• Test drive vehicles and document findings on RO in TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks, inventory, and fuel/parts coordination.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals and updates.
