Cox Fleet, a leading on-site fleet maintenance provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II in the Bronx, NY. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and both light and advanced repairs for diverse truck fleets in a mobile setting.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, document findings, and coordinate with management. Safety and regulatory compliance are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• ASE T8 and ASE 608/609 certifications are preferred/required within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts and equipment on the service truck; document work orders in TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
