Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II in Edison, NJ to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and document findings on RO using TRAIT and an iOS device.

3+ years of related field experience and ASE certifications are preferred. We offer weekly pay, bonuses, safety gear and uniforms, a take-home service truck where applicable, and strong career growth with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma/GED; related field experience acceptable.
• ASE T8 PMI and ASE 608/609 certifications preferred or obtained within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory requirements and medical card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test equipment to verify repairs.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory on-site.
• Document work in RO using TRAIT on an iOS device.
