Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair diesel systems, document work, and maintain the service truck and tools while coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience.
• Own required hand tools to perform duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT regulations compliance and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine electronics, and diesel systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions with test instruments.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck duties; upload RO data on company app.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and DOT requirements.
