Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to service trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment across the country.

You will perform DOT and PM inspections, diagnose faults, and complete repairs on light to heavy-duty equipment, while maintaining safety standards and thorough documentation using our TRAIT iOS app.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; related experience considered.
ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT physical/background screen required.
Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain DQF.

Responsibilities

Perform PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on fleet vehicles in mobile/field environment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
Keep accurate documentation and upload RO photos via TRAIT app on iOS.
Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for needed items.
