Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile/field environment. The role emphasizes diagnostic work on electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems with on-site or client operations.

Ideal candidates hold HS diploma with ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, and have strong safety and communication skills to manage schedules and customer interactions. Competitive weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• DOT pre-employment requirements and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Must have or obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Experience with diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts and inventory for service truck and RO documentation.
