Job summary

Cox Fleet in Nashville is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II for afternoons and some weekends. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and diagnose and repair light through heavy duty truck systems in a mobile/field setting.

The role requires ASE T8 within 18 months, HS diploma, valid license, and ability to work independently with safety compliance. We offer weekly pay, boots/glasses reimbursement, uniforms, a company tablet and phone, and strong career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related field experience acceptable.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• Must have valid driver's license and be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brakes, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain and inventory parts on service truck.
• Document work in RO via TRAIT app and iOS device.
