Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to complex repairs in a mobile/field setting across the United States.

The role requires DOT compliance, ASE/T8 certification within 18 months, and the ability to work independently with a positive safety record. A $4,000 new hire bonus is offered, with potential additional incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years in related field or alternative combo
• Must possess hand tools required for duties
• ABE/ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months and DOT/pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and PM inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine and drivetrain systems
• Maintain service truck, document work, upload RO photos and ensure DOT compliance
