Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Lexington, KY for mobile/field diagnostics and repairs. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs, documenting work via iOS TRAIT app and coordinating with management for parts and approvals.

Requires ASE T6 and a valid DOT medical card, with prior diesel experience. The role features an evening shift and a remote-friendly option within the city/state, with weekly pay and continuous training

Competenze

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or 5 years’ experience in a related field.
ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification.
A current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining; if four months or less, a DOT physical will be required.

Mansioni

Perform licensed DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
Carry out light and follow-up repairs including electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related tasks as assigned.
Document work and parts used on Repair Orders using company devices and TRAIT app.
Obtain parts from approved vendors and communicate with management for approvals and purchase orders.
Maintain safety, health and environmental compliance per OSHA, EPA and DOT requirements.
