Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs in a mobile setting. You will diagnose electronic and mechanical systems, manage parts and service trucks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with DOT/FMCSA regulation knowledge.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is preferred.
• 5+ years in related field or 3 years with alternate qualifications as noted.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings in RO using TRAIT app.
• Maintain parts inventory and service vehicle, ensure safety checks and pre/post trip inspections.
