Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling systems and manage parts on a company truck with iOS TRAIT documentation.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a 7am-2pm weekend shift from Thursday to Monday. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must possess a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Inspect and test equipment, document findings on RO using iOS TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks and handle parts inventory for service truck.
