Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical/hydraulic systems, manage parts on a company service truck, and document work in the TRAIT app.

You will operate under OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, with a lead role on site and strong diagnostic responsibilities. A current DOT medical card or equivalent is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with related field experience or higher
• 3+ years of experience with refrigerated equipment
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and pre-employment screening required

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections and repairs on light–heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and engine systems
• Inspect, test, road test and document findings on RO using company iOS app
• Obtain parts and manage service truck inventory
• Maintain safety checks and follow DOT/OSHA regulations
