Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and both light and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair diesel systems while maintaining the company service truck and documenting work in the TRAIT app.

The role requires HS diploma and 3 years’ related experience, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related discipline OK with experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain; background check and DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleets.
• Carry out light to heavy repairs and diagnostics in a field setting.
• Operate and maintain service truck and inventory; document RO in TRAIT app.
