Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will work under supervision and gradually take on more complex tasks while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, possession of basic tools, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. We offer weekly pay, safety benefits, and extensive training as part of a broad national service network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Supply your own set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance required and DOT medical card preferred.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months; T4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on mobile/field fleets.
• Carry out light to moderate vehicle repairs and adjustments.
• Document work on RO via company device and TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks and daily pre/post trip inspections.
