Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose, adjust and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems while maintaining accurate documentation and scheduling.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED, 3 years in a related field, and the ability to work independently with a company-issued service vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years of related field experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in mobile/field settings.
• Road test vehicles to verify diagnostics and ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and document work using company tools and iOS app.
