Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and vehicle diagnostics on light to heavy trucks in a mobile setting. You will handle repairs, document findings, and communicate with customers and management.

The role requires 3 years in related work, a HS diploma/GED, and tool ownership; ASE certifications are preferred. Strong safety and schedule management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years in related field; may have higher degree/cert.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools for required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance knowledge or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling and engine systems on trucks.
• Document work and parts used using company TRAIT app and iOS device.
• Maintain safety checks, pre-/post-trip inspections, and manage schedule.
