Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) seeks a Mobile Diesel Service Technician to perform heavy-duty truck repairs at customer sites and manage repair orders in the field. You will develop customer relationships and pursue additional service sales within your territory.

Required are 3+ years of heavy-duty repair, A/C/Brake/DOT inspector certifications, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. Major duties include scheduling, safety compliance, and delivering reliable service in a mobile

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' heavy-duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required; Engine and Component certifications are a plus.
• Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision; strong customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks at customer sites with general supervision.
• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment and scheduling.
• Advise customers on needed service work and options to increase labor and parts revenue.
• Maintain safety practices and proper care of company equipment and vehicles.
• Build favorable relations with customers and document work performed in the system.
