Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC (MHC) is seeking a Mobile Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy-duty truck repairs and on-site maintenance at customer locations in a designated territory. You will develop relationships with customers to meet labor sales quotas and identify opportunities to grow service sales.

Responsibilities include coordinating repair orders, advising on additional service work, maintaining safety standards, and documenting work in the MHC system.

Formación

• Minimum three years' heavy-duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required; engine and component certifications are a plus.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
• Must have a commitment to customer satisfaction and perform quality repairs.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform heavy-duty mechanical truck repairs and routine maintenance offsite at customer locations.
• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen; schedule mobile maintenance tasks.
• Advise customers on needed service work and additional labor or parts opportunities.
• Maintain safety practices and proper care of company vehicles; report damages.
• Create and close repair orders in the MHC system and document work performed.
• Oversee operations of assigned customers; call on key accounts and promote services.
• Aim to achieve labor sales objectives and quotas for assigned accounts.
