Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) is seeking a Mobile Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy‑duty truck repairs and maintenance at customer locations. You will develop relationships with customers, identify service opportunities, and coordinate repair orders with the service team.

The role requires strong communication, a minimum of three years’ heavy‑duty experience, and relevant certifications.

Formación

• Minimum three years’ heavy‑duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required; engine and component certifications are a plus.
• CDL Class A or B may be required depending upon the size of the mobile service vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine mechanical repairs and maintenance on heavy‑duty truck equipment.
• Coordinates repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment.
• Advises customer of needed service work, as well as suggests additional labor, parts and body shop sales whenever possible.
• Follows safety practices and maintains company vehicles.
• Creates and closes repair orders in the MHC business system to document work performed.
• Controls business expenses and manages tooling and parts inventory on the service truck.
• Oversees operations of assigned customers in territory and calls on key accounts regularly.
• Responsible for achieving labor sales objectives and quota for assigned accounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
