Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) is looking for a Mobile Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team in North Carolina. This role involves performing heavy-duty mechanical repairs and maintenance at customer locations, building relationships, and achieving labor sales quotas.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years heavy-duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality repairs.
• Class A or B CDL and/or DOT medical card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty truck equipment.
• Coordinate customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen.
• Advise customers on needed service work.
• Maintain favorable relations with customers.
