Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Orlando, FL is hiring a Mobile Service Technician to maintain client fleets and respond to service calls on-site. You will perform cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and parts reconditioning with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, a valid CDL and FMVSS medical card, and hands-on mechanical ability. Lead diagnostic work and parts handling with a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks and cleanliness; complete inspections as assigned.
• Manage service truck inventory and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to determine malfunctions and perform repairs.
