Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to support fleets across the United States. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 vehicles in a mobile field setting, using a company service truck and modern diagnostic tools.

The role requires at least three years of hands-on diesel experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on diesel tech experience.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite preventive maintenance and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running smoothly.
Use handheld devices, tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and fix issues quickly.
Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
Lead safety checks and post-trip inspections; work with vendors to source parts.
