Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to keep fleets on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in the field.

Each technician has a fully equipped company service truck, top-tier tools, and access to a supportive team. This role emphasizes independence, safety, and delivering reliable service on-site, with growth opportunities in a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspections and air brake repair expertise to keep fleets safe.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation, and digital tools to document repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems; use diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Source parts with vendors and keep operations moving.
