Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a company-provided service truck and advanced tools.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on diesel experience, DOT inspection skills, and strong communication. This role suits self-motivated individuals ready for outdoor work and fast-paced field environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.
• Comfort with mobile apps and digital tools to document repairs.
• Independent, dependable and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and follow-up repairs in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for service or maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running.
• Use handheld computers, diagnostic tools, and welding equipment as needed.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repair quality and safety.
• Work with vendors to source parts and maintain operations.
• Maintain and pre/post-trip inspections on company service truck.
