Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 fleets at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs using company-provided tools and a fully equipped service truck.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills for customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to document repairs.
• Bring your own hand tools; company provides equipment and service truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Respond to emergency roadside service calls with urgency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld devices and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly.
• Road-test vehicles after repairs to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain productivity and meet standard repair times; source parts as needed.
