Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a field-based role. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs using a company service truck and top-tier tools, with a team that values safety and reliability.

Bring your own hand tools; we provide the rest, including a company fuel card and ongoing support. The role requires 23+ years old, a clean driving record, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running.
• Use mobile apps and diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Operate hand and power tools, plus welding equipment, to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Work with vendors to source parts and maintain operations.
