Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. Diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance with top-quality tools using a company service truck.

You’ll join a field-based team that values independence, safety and pride in delivering reliable service. Benefits include a company truck to take home, a fuel card, weekly pay and health coverage after 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to use mobile apps and digital tools.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and handheld computers to identify and fix issues fast.
• Put expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
