Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Colorado, Commerce City, seeks an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain client fleets and respond to service calls on site at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and replace diesel components, manage on-truck inventory, and document work in the company system.

The role requires 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, with CDL and FMVSS medical card preferred. ASE certifications are a plus, and the company emphasizes training, safety, and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Preferred: CDL and FMVSS medical card.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins and ASE certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory for service truck and stocked vehicle parts.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Diagnose, remove and replace components such as injectors, pistons, and bearings as needed.
• Perform diagnostic and documentation tasks in the company system.
• Ensure safety checks and lubrication are completed to spec.
