Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is hiring Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to service fleets at client sites. You will perform on-site maintenance, diagnose issues with diagnostic tools, and ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting to the Service Manager.

The role requires 1–2 years of Class 7/8 dealership experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a preferred CDL. ASE certifications are valued, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• Current CDL is preferred but not required.
• FMCSA medical card as required.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude essential; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment per company standards.
• Perform on-site maintenance and service calls at client locations.
• Manage service truck inventory and ensure proper stocking.
• Report to Service Manager and follow daily tasks.
• Be available for after-hours calls and flexible schedule.
• Use diagnostic tools and document work in the system.
• Communicate repairs and future service needs to customers.
