Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Leesburg, FL. You will perform DOT and preventative maintenance inspections, diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic systems, and test vehicles in a mobile field environment.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED with ASE T8 within 18 months, valid license, and the ability to pass DOT screening. Comprehensive benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 3 years related field experience or 5 years equivalent.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months; DOT pre-employment screening required.
• Valid drivers license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Carry out light to moderate repairs and diagnostics on electrical, fuel, cooling, and braking systems.
• Road test and verify repairs; document findings and parts used on RO via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for required components.
• Maintain safety checks on service truck and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.
