CoxFleet in Tampa, FL is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-mid repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, braking, and diesel systems, maintain vehicles, and work with a field team to meet service commitments.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a HS diploma/GED, and a tool kit. Safety and DOT compliance are essential, with strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.
• Must possess and supply a basic set of hand tools for required duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems on trucks.
• Maintain and document work using company TRAIT app and repair orders.
