Cox Automotive's Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a field setting. You’ll work independently, with a company-provided service truck, and take home the assigned vehicle.

Qualificações

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months; DOT/FMCSA clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections and safety checks on service truck and equipment.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with customers and management to confirm repair estimates and RO documentation.
