Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy-duty repairs in a mobile/field environment.

Set up on-site service, manage parts and documentation, and adhere to safety standards while advancing technical skills under supervision. Eligible candidates will have a HS diploma and ASE T8 certification within 18 months, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Need a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) and ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulated pre-employment checks and DOT physical or DOT medical card required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and operate service truck and document work using company tools.
