Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to service a broad mobile fleet nationwide, performing DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trucks and trailers. The role emphasizes on-site work with limited supervision and strong safety discipline.

The position offers a $4000 new hire bonus, weekly pay, uniforms and training to advance certifications. Candidates must meet DOT requirements and have diesel tech experience for mobile service.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required; 3+ years in related field or 5+ years with alternate qualifications.
At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in a mobile/field setting.
Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles; document findings in Repair Orders using company TRAIT app.
Manage parts inventory and operate company vehicle with regular safety checks.
