Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading mobile on-site fleet service provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Savannah, GA. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile environment, with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining service trucks, and documenting findings in RO via TRAIT app. ASE certs to be obtained within 18 months; valid CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED; ASE certifications to be obtained within 18 months.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA knowledge and safety compliance skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain and document work in RO using company iOS app and TRAIT system.
• Manage parts inventory and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Ensure safety checks and post-trip inspections on service trucks.
