Job summary

Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs and light repairs for a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, document findings, and drive with a focus on safety and uptime.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, nationwide service environment. New hire bonus available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Document work performed and parts used on RO with handheld device.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with customers for approvals.
