Job summary

CoxFleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on a nationwide mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, perform road tests, and document work via our TRAIT app.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOT medical card. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling systems and related components.
• Inspect, road test, and document repairs with RO using company iOS device.
• Maintain safety, compliance with DOT regs, and manage parts/inventory.
• Communicate with customers and manage multiple tasks with priorities.
