Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. The role supports advanced diagnostics under supervision, contributing to high performance metrics across our nationwide fleet.

The position requires 100% travel, with a Sunday–Thursday shift (6am–2pm). Base pay is $32.31–$48.46 per hour, with a $2,500 new hire bonus potential and incentives depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance for trucks.
• Experience with light to heavy-duty vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Field service capability in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, brakes, cooling, engine and related systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and drivetrain components.
• Inspect, test, and ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
