Job summary

Cox Fleet in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy diagnostics on trucks and trailers in a mobile/field setting.

You will work with a team, manage parts on a service truck, document work using the TRAIT app, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. A HS diploma, tool set, and ASE T8 certification within 18 months are required, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience.
• Own set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment check and DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Inspect, test and document findings on Repair Orders using the TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck; coordinate with management for approvals.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations.
