Wellstar CT Technologist role located in Augusta, GA, supports a mobile CT unit delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. The technologist works within a collaborative team, adheres to safety standards, and advances patient comfort and accurate documentation.

The position requires completing a Radiologic Technology program, state licensure, and ARRT certifications. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and benefits including education support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT (Radiography)
• ARRT CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain patient identifiers, and ensure patient safety.
• Explain procedures and prep clearly using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and apply sterile techniques when needed.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
