Wellstar operates a New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with high-quality imaging and patient-centered care. The role emphasizes safe technique, infection control, and accurate documentation within a collaborative team.

Requirements include a radiologic technology program, ARRT certifications, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography), ARRT CT, BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Maintain infection control and clean/disinfect rooms and equipment.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Document procedures accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate to optimize workflow and support department operations.
