Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with responsibilities across scanning, patient care, and infection control in a mobile unit setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and obtain clinical history prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients, reducing anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
