Wellstar Medical Group’s New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role involves using ALARA principles, maintaining infection control, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The CT Technologist will work in a mobile unit, support the care team, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

Aufgaben

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and two patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
