Wellstar Medical Group operates a New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team on a mobile platform, performing CT exams and ensuring proper safety protocols.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers before exams and document timely.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
