Job summary

Terros Health in West Valley is hiring Crisis Specialists for 30- and 40-hour positions on the Mobile Crisis Team. You will respond on-site to crisis calls, provide crisis intervention, and support children, adults and families to stabilize emotions and behavior.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, schools and first responders, plus ongoing planning, referrals when appropriate, and a commitment to compassionate, professional care.

Qualifications

• Assess risk and provide crisis stabilization on-site.
• Engage with clients, families, schools, and first responders.
• Develop care plans and conduct follow-up as needed.
• Serve seriously mentally ill, including children/adolescents and families.
• Must hold an Arizona license in good standing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls on-site when telephonic resolution is not possible.
• Assess and stabilize individuals across lifespan and diverse backgrounds.
• Refer to longer-term counseling or services as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families, schools, first responders and community partners.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing caseloads.
