Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Crisis Specialist to join the Crisis Mobile Team in the East Valley. Evening and overnight shifts available, up to 40 hours weekly. The role emphasizes crisis stabilization, engagement with clients and families, and coordination with schools and first responders.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree or license and have behavioral health experience. Bilingual pay differential and comprehensive benefits are available; a valid AZ driver license and fingerprint clearance

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma with 1.5+ years behavioral health experience, or associate degree in behavioral health.
• Bachelor's degree (not in behavioral health) with 1 year behavioral health experience, or
• Bachelor's in behavioral health or related field with licensure or eligibility.
• Masters in behavioral health (MA/MC/MSW) in good standing with AZ board license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and engage with clients, develop care plans and follow-up.
• Collaborate with families, schools, first responders and partners.
• Focus on seriously mentally ill, children/adolescents and family interventions.
• Assess and stabilize across ages and cultures; refer to longer-term counseling when needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing needs.
