Job summary

Elizabeth Layton Center in Ottawa, KS, seeks a Mobile Crisis Case Manager to join the Outpatient Crisis team. You will respond to crisis calls, assess danger, and provide case management to adults and children in homes and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to meet Kansas licensing requirements.
• Familiarity with mental health theory and practice.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass a security check as required by Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention via phone and in-person to clients.
• Assess danger level during psychiatric crises and coordinate resources.
• Respond to crises in community settings (ERs, schools, clients’ homes).
• Support Mobile Crisis Unit calls and transport clients to hospital when needed.
• Work on a 24-hour crisis team on a rotating schedule.
• Document calls and maintain accurate records for program data.
